Welcome to IntrepidServices.com (the "Site").
We understand that online privacy is important to users of our Site, especially when conducting business.
This statement governs our privacy policies with respect to those users of the Site
("Visitors") who visit without transacting business as well as our Customers, Employees and Independent Consultants
who register to transact business on the Site ("Registered Users"), whose secured access is needed to use and/or to provide
the various services offered by Intrepid (collectively, the "Services".)
Definition: "Personally Identifiable Information" refers to any information that identifies or can be used to identify, contact, or
locate the person to whom such information pertains, including, but not limited
to, name, address, phone number, fax number, and email address(es). Personally Identifiable Information
does not include information that is collected anonymously (that is, without identification
of the individual user) nor to demographic information not connected to an identified individual.
What Personally Identifiable Information is collected on this site?
Authorized Customers of Intrepid Services, as well as Employees and Consultants (collectively "Registered Users") will be required to provide the
following information in order to access the secured portions of the Site for the pusposes of using the Site to
conduct business with, or provide services to, Intrepid: First Name, Last Name, Email address, Business address and Business phone
number(s). Registered Users will use their Email address as their username when logging-in to the Site.
A password will be selected by each Registered User and together with their email address will be used to access
the secured portions of the Site. All passwords are "one-way" encrypted in such a manner that the passwords can never be
known to anyone other than the Registered User that created them.
What non-Personally Identifiable Information is collected on this site?
We may collect basic site usage information from all of our Visitors and Registered Users, including the IP address
from which the visits are made, the times and dates of the visits, the pages viewed and the lenght of time they are viewed
as well as the type and version of the browser used during the visit. This information is used to perform
aggregate visitor analysis, to generate site usage statistics, to analyze trends, to administer the Site, and to
gather broad demographic information.
How does the Site use Personally Identifiable Information?
We use Personally Identifiable Information to customize the Site, and to respond to
requests to specific inquiries and/or to provide requested information. In addition, we may
contact Registered Users via email, phone or other means regarding changes/updates to project
statuses, new or modified documents available via the secured portions of the Site
and other such communications as would be customary and resonable in the conduct of
business between Intrepid and its Registered Users.
With whom may the information may be shared?
Intrepid Services does not share, rent nor otherwise distribute any Personally Indentifiable Information with any third-parties.
The only exception to this rule would be in the case of compliance with a court order or subpoena
or a bona-fide request from a law enforcement agency to release information.
How is Personally Identifiable Information stored?
Personally Identifiable Information collected by IntrepidServices.com is securely
stored and is not accessible to third parties or employees of IntrepidServices.com
except for use as indicated above.
What choices are available to Visitors regarding collection, use and distribution of the information?
Registered Users may opt out of receiving unsolicited information
from or being contacted by Intrepid by responding to emails as instructed, or by contacting
us at info@IntrepidServices.com.
Are Cookies Used on the Site?
Cookies are used for a variety of reasons. We use Cookies to maintain information
about the preferences of our Visitors and Registered Users and the services they select. We also use
Cookies for security purposes to protect our Registered Users. For example, if a Registered User is logged-on
and the site is unused for more than 20 minutes, we will automatically log the Registered User off.
How does the Site keep Personally Identifiable Information secure?
All of our Employees and Independent Consultants are familiar with our security policies and practices and all
have executed binding Non-Disclosure and Confidentiality Agreements that enure to the benefit of Intrepid's Clients.
The Personally Identifiable Information of our Registered Users is only accessible
to a limited number of qualified employees. We audit our security systems and processes on a
regular basis. Sensitive information, such as credit card numbers are not stored on the Site at all. Any use of
credit card information to conduct business will be via the use of a commercially-recognized, secure payment processor.
While we take commercially reasonable measures to maintain a secure site, electronic communications and databases
are subject to errors, tampering and break-ins, and we cannot guarantee or warrant that such events will not take
place. Intrepid will not be liable to Visitors nor Regsitered Users for any such occurrences.
How can inaccuracies in Personally Identifiable Information be corrected?
In the event that a Registered User is unable to correct the information on their own using the Site's administrative tools,
those Registered Users may contact us to update Personally Identifiable Information about them or to correct any inaccuracies
by emailing us at info@IntrepidServices.com
Can a Visitor delete or deactivate Personally Identifiable Information collected by the Site?
We provide Registered Users with a mechanism to delete/deactivate
Personally Identifiable Information from the Site's databases by contacting
info@IntrepidServices.com. However, because of backups and records of deletions,
it may be impossible to delete a Registered User's entry without retaining some residual information. An individual who requests to
have Personally Identifiable Information deactivated will have this information functionally deleted, and we will neither sell,
transfer, nor use Personally Identifiable Information relating to that individual in any way, at any time.
What happens if the Privacy Policy Changes?
We will let our Registered Users know about changes to our privacy
policy by posting such changes on the Site. However, if we are changing our privacy
policy in a manner that might cause disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information
that a Registered User has previously requested not be disclosed,
we will contact the Registered User ahead of time to allow the Registered User to decline
and thereby prevent any such disclosure.
